El Paso home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in El Paso rose by $17,848 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $119,500 - a 17.6% increase over the $101,653 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in El Paso in February 2016.

The median sales tax in El Paso for 2017 was $2,568. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,641. This marks an decrease of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
