Eureka home prices fall in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Eureka fell by $86,700 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,600 - a 48.9% decrease over the $177,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Eureka in March 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Eureka for 2017 was $3,234. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,304. This marks an decrease of 2.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.6%.
