Eureka home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Eureka fell by $9,750 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $147,750 - a 6.2% decrease over the $157,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Eureka in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Eureka for 2017 was $3,234. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,304. This marks an decrease of 2.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
