West Peoria home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in West Peoria fell by $2,050 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $66,450 - a 3% decrease over the $68,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in West Peoria in May 2016.

The median sales tax in West Peoria for 2017 was $1,748. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,727. This marks an increase of 1.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
