Chillicothe home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Chillicothe rose by $9,900 while total sales increased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $134,900 - a 7.9% increase over the $125,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Chillicothe in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Chillicothe for 2017 was $2,268. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,247. This marks an increase of 0.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
