Eureka home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Eureka rose by $13,500 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $141,500 - a 10.5% increase over the $128,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Eureka in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Eureka for 2017 was $3,234. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,304. This marks an decrease of 2.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
