El Paso home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in El Paso rose by $23,200 while total sales increased by 133.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $107,000 - a 27.7% increase over the $83,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in El Paso in July 2016.

The median sales tax in El Paso for 2017 was $2,568. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,641. This marks an decrease of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
