Washington home prices fall in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Washington fell by $43,500 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $182,000 - a 19.3% decrease over the $225,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Washington in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Washington for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,527, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
