Washington home prices fall in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Washington fell by $6,100 while total sales decreased by 12.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 29 homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,900 - a 3.4% decrease over the $182,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Washington in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Washington for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,527, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
