Washington home prices fall in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Washington fell by $32,750 while total sales increased by 26.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $176,500 - a 15.7% decrease over the $209,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Washington in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Washington for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,527, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for September 2018.
