City of Atlanta issued the following announcement on May 19.
The Renew Atlanta/TSPLOST Program is scheduled to begin constructing sidewalk improvements adjacent to Atlanta Memorial Park at the west side of Northside Drive across from Bobby Jones Golf Course.
Improvements along the perimeter of Atlanta Memorial Park at Woodward Way and Wesley Drive will include installation of more than one (1) mile of sidewalk and curbing.
Local traffic and park access will be maintained for the duration of the project.

Construction activities associated with this project are scheduled to begin the week of May 20th. The project is anticipated to take at least a year to complete, weather permitting, and no unforeseen construction challenges. Work hours for the project will be from
8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. However, work hours may be expanded to accommodate construction needs.
