The following actions were taken on May 23 in the House on House bill HR378 ("sports wagering-igb study"): "Motion to Suspend Rule 21 - Prevailed", "Motion Filed to Suspend Rule 21 Revenue & Finance Committee(Rep. Natalie A. Manley" and "Assigned to Revenue & Finance Committee".

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. André Thapedi (D-32) on May 13, "directs the Illinois Gaming Board to conduct a disparity study on whether minority-owned businesses face any barriers that prevent their equitable participation in the business of legalized sports wagering," according to the General Assembly website.
