The data shows that both of the released offenders in South Pekin were men. The younger parolee is a 36-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving drugs in 2017, and the other is a 37-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving drugs in 2013.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Timothy J. Estes. He was convicted of crimes involving drugs in 2013 when he was 31 years old. He is now 37.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
