City of Chillicothe Plan Commission met June 4.

3. Approval of May 7, 2019 minutes: Motion to approve, Shawn Grant Second Andy Ruhland Motion passed
4. Purpose of Hearing: Flood Plain Ordinance
5. There were no presenters or parties that wish to comment
6. No Public Input
7. Discussion: Dennis explained problem in Peoria with wording that any improvement of 50% or more could cause problems if home owner were to make improvements, but not because of flood problems: Home Maintenance for example.
Thu Truitt questioned Police Power and 5 year vs 10 year alteration plan
8. Floodplain Ordinance Vote: Motion to approve: Andy Ruhland, Second: Mike Smith. Roll call vote: All members in attendance voted aye. Shawn Grant was unable to stay for vote because of another commitment.
9. Sign Ordinance: No updates from Chairman Parkins
10. Addition to agenda: Yearly election of Plan Commission Chairman and Secretary: Dennis Parkins was reelected Chairman and Joe Binstock was reelected Secretary. Both were unopposed!
11. Commercial Fence Ordinance: No update
12. Next meeting date and time: July 2, 2019 7:00 pm at Chillicothe City Hall
