City of Chillicothe Marketing and Tourism Commission met June 3.

The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.
Budget Review – ED Director Beadles reported one expenditure for May leaving budget at 2%.
Fireworks Contribution would be reviewed at EDC-Finance Committee
1st Tuesday Business Connection discussion would lead to Marketing & Tourism Sub committee
1st Monday of the month date and announcement for Marketing & Tourism Commission was discussed.
Old Business:
Downtown Thursdays – June 27-Comic Book Superheroes, July 25-Corn Boil, August 29-Back to School
Claud-Elen Days – Amanda Oedewaldt reported event running June 6-8th
Taste of Chillicothe would be held on Thursday, June 6th
Director Beadles reported 12 food vendors for Taste of Chillicothe. Amanda Oedewaldt reported two craft vendors had signed up for Taste of Chillicothe. Discussion was had on filling 2nd street from Pine to Cedar and Director Beadles said she would contact her vendor list to fill space
