Illinois State House District 87 issued the following announcement on June 27
Join State Representative Tim Butler (R-Springfield) for some coffee and conversation on Friday, July 12 at Athens City Hall from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
“A lot happened during the spring legislative session,” said Butler. “Now that the dust has started to settle, I hope local residents will join me to discuss the good, the bad and how the session will impact our communities.”
In addition to a casual discussion of the spring legislative session, discussion of other state or local issues is welcome, as well as questions or concerns about state programs and assistance.
