City of Champaign Township Board met July 9.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Feinen called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Matthew Gladney, Will Kyles, Vanna Pianfetti, Greg Stock, Alicia Beck, Angie Brix, Tom Bruno, Clarissa Fourman, and Chairperson Feinen

BOARD MEMBERS None

ABSENT:

OTHERS PRESENT: 

Andy Quarnstrom, Township Supervisor

Fred Stavins, Township Attorney

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

June 4, 2019 Regular Township Meeting

Board Member Stock, seconded by Board Member Gladney, moved to approve the minutes. A voice vote was taken; all voted yes. Motion carried.

CORRESPONDENCE: None

APPROVAL OF SUMMARY OF CHECKS WRITTEN – ALL FUNDS, MAY 2019: May showed the total for the Town Fund was $62,184.79; General Assistance was $19,772.55; IMRF was $4,036.19; and the Social Security Fund was $1,7023.65. Total expenditures for the month of May 2019 were $87,017.18. Board Member Stock, seconded by Board Member Gladney, moved to accept and place on file the summary of expenditures. A voice vote was taken on the motion to approve the expenditure report and place it on file; all voted yes. Motion carried.

ACTION ON ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS: None 

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION: None

TOWN BOARD AND TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR’S COMMENT: Supervisor Quarnstrom provided an update regarding the rental assistance program; the soon to begin No Wrong Door campaign; and provided an update regarding the CU@Work program and Prosperity Gardens.

NEXT MEETING: Supervisor Quarnstrom had noted the next meeting date of August 6, 2019.

ADJOURNMENT: Board Member Stock, seconded by Board Member Gladney, moved to adjourn. A voice vote was taken on the motion to adjourn; all voted yes. Motion carried.

The meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
