Havana home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Havana rose by $28,750 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $62,250 - a 85.8% increase over the $33,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Havana in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Havana for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,617, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
