Mason City home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Mason City fell by $3,400 while total sales decreased by 45.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $53,000 - a 6% decrease over the $56,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Mason City in the fourth quarter of 2016.
