Havana home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Havana fell by $19,250 while total sales decreased by 37.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $43,000 - a 30.9% decrease over the $62,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Havana in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Havana for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,617, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
