Peoria home prices fall in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Peoria fell by $16,000 while total sales decreased by 27.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 419 homes sold, with a median sale price of $103,000 - a 13.4% decrease over the $119,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 575 homes sold in Peoria in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,237, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
