West Peoria home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in West Peoria rose by $8,750 while total sales decreased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $73,750 - a 13.5% increase over the $65,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in West Peoria in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in West Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,748, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
