Havana home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Havana rose by $12,200 while total sales remained unchanged with 18 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $59,950 - a 25.5% increase over the $47,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Havana in the second half of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Havana for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,617, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
