City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
East Peoria women age 16 to 20 can enter the Festival of Lights Queen Pageant. The queen wins a college scholarship, and the first and second runners-up also receive prizes. Entry deadline for the annual pageant has been extended to Friday, November 1.
