Village of Swansea Park Board met Sept. 14.

Members Present: Dave Chevess, Rose Connor, Barb Kimutis, Mike Koeneman, Ryan Maitland, David McGhee, Diane Wickline, Jonas Wilson, Jim Wolfe
Village Liaison: Marilyn Neumeyer
Guests: Mike Buehlhorn, Matt Lynch
President Mike opened meeting with Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00am, followed by discussion of Agenda Items. Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve 10 August minutes made by Rose, second by Jim.
Clinton Hills Fundraiser Event: So far, only 88 responses for tickets. Help from village for manpower in setting up tables. Working on table layout for tickets. Dave C, Ryan and Jim at check in table. Mike B will make big poster with table assignments. TWM making donation board. Barb suggested names for donation levels. Ryan maintains our social media and Facebook information. Thank you, Ryan.
All donations will be accepted. Donations can be made in memory of, or applied to specific items as walking paths, fountains, benches, etc. Earliest work will not begin until spring for items purchased.
Most purchases will be with credit cards; cash on hand to accommodate purchases.
Cost of rental tables $12. Tables and chairs must be at park before 9:00 am Sat. so we can begin setting up.
Spooktacular: Marilyn has 96 brats from Braedegan. Mr Lukens will not be here due to sickness. Need to choose a day for turning Santa House into blood bank. David getting list for help. We need flyers for schools. Barb will be our most excellent witch and cook our very tasty!??? Bone soup. Rotary donated $400; no arm bands need be purchased.
Discuss Santa House: After discussion, Santa will open Sun, Dec 1, and will feature “Pictures with Santa and Pets”. Only well-behaved pets are welcome. Randy Willard is our full-time Santa. We need another printer. This will give us two printers, along with two cameras and will help speed up picture taking. Looking for a sponsor for pet night.
