Norwood home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Norwood fell by $43,000 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $25,000 - a 63.2% decrease over the $68,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Norwood in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Norwood for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,903, approximately 7.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
