West Peoria home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in West Peoria rose by $6,200 while total sales decreased by 45.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $67,700 - a 10.1% increase over the $61,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 51 homes sold in West Peoria in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in West Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,746, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
