East Peoria home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in East Peoria rose by $6,550 while total sales increased by 22.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 271 homes sold, with a median sale price of $126,000 - a 5.5% increase over the $119,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 222 homes sold in East Peoria in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in East Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,876, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
