Benson home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Benson rose by $4,500 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $87,500 - a 5.4% increase over the $83,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Benson in the first half of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Benson for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,896, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
