El Paso home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in El Paso rose by $13,500 while total sales decreased by 23.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $110,000 - a 14% increase over the $96,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in El Paso in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in El Paso for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,607, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
