Mackinaw home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Mackinaw fell by $32,950 while total sales increased by 112.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $128,500 - a 20.4% decrease over the $161,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Mackinaw in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Mackinaw for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,151, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
