Eureka home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Eureka rose by $18,050 while total sales decreased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $138,500 - a 15% increase over the $120,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Eureka in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Eureka for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,251, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
