El Paso home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in El Paso rose by $25,800 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $117,000 - a 28.3% increase over the $91,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in El Paso in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in El Paso for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,607, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
