Rome home prices rise in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Rome rose by $40,700 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,000 - a 41% increase over the $99,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Rome in December 2018.

The median sales tax in Rome for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,185, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for December 2019.
