Roanoke home prices rise in July 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2019 in Roanoke rose by $34,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,000 - a 32.1% increase over the $106,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Roanoke in July 2018.

The median sales tax in Roanoke for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,530, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for July 2019.
