Roanoke home prices rise in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Roanoke rose by $33,500 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $121,500 - a 38.1% increase over the $88,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Roanoke in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Roanoke for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,530, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
