Roanoke home prices fall in March 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Roanoke fell by $5,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $57,000 - a 8.1% decrease over the $62,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Roanoke in March 2018.

The median sales tax in Roanoke for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,530, approximately 4.4% of the median home sale price for March 2019.
