Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve 14 December minutes with the following corrections: Barb Kimutis was not present; Matt Lynch is member not guest. Motion to approve 14 December minutes with corrections by Barb, second by Matt. Motion approved.
Santa House Wrap Up: Income less expenses - $664.41. Total number of kids visiting Santa – 406. Santa suits have been dry cleaned and the beards are at hair stylist being cleaned and repaired. Income/Expense sheet provided. Giving our Santas their own keys worked well. Matt is considering joining Randy and David as our third Santa.
Identical printers and cameras expedited photo taking and printing. There were a few glitches in the beginning, but all went smoothly after that. Suggestions for 2020: extend daily hours; participate in Firemen’s Lighted Parade on Dec 4; Santa is in Dec 6 thru Dec 23; increase start-up cash to $50; request Village to print photo holders. Request Village repair chimney.
Marilyn will no longer have full responsibility of running Santa House operation. Sharon and Steve Voss, Marilyn’s good friends and long-time residents of Swansea, will be taking over. They will not be part of the Park Board. They will, however, need Park Board approval for changes. Marilyn and Sharon went after Christmas shopping for toybox gifts. We are set up for gifts for this year and next. President Mike thanks all who made this year’s Santa House a success.
Easter Egg Hunt: Valle Taco will have their food truck on site until egg hunt begins. Link their website to Village, Patriots and our Facebooks. Marilyn sending out sponsor letters to those sponsors who normally support our events. Updated 501© (3) sponsorship form, sponsor list attached. Please inform Marilyn of donated gifts.
