City of Delavan issued the following announcement on May 2.
As of May 1st the burning ban in Delavan has been lifted. Open burning of yard waste only is now allowed during the day light hours. Please still be considerate of your neighbors when burning and limit the amount and times when burning.
Also, if there are any residents of Delavan that are high-risk or elderly that are in need of a face mask, the Police Department has a limited amount of masks to distribute to the public. Please contact the Police Department at 244-8226 to inquire about receiving a face mask.
