Roanoke home prices fall in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Roanoke fell by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $50,000 - a 16.7% decrease over the $60,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Roanoke in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Roanoke for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,530, approximately 5.1% of the median home sale price for October 2019.
