12 Peoria County residents in their seventies test positive for COVID-19

As of May 24, there have been 12 Peoria County residents in their seventies who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 887 residents in their seventies in the county who had been tested, meaning that one percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through May 24, there have been 177 confirmed COVID-19 cases and seven deaths from the coronavirus in Peoria County.
