Farmington home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Farmington fell by $18,950 while total sales decreased by 32.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $52,000 - a 26.7% decrease over the $70,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Farmington in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Farmington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,015, approximately 3.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
