Five Peoria County residents in their thirties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 9, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 123 positive cases reported in Peoria County among residents in their thirties, accounting for 20.2 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 9, Peoria County has reported a total of 609 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 29 of which have ended with the victim's death.
