Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Woodford County?

There were eight offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2019 that live in Woodford County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Woodford County were men. The median age of the parolees was 36. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2018, and the oldest was a 52-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 2012.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was David W. Shrier. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2012 when he was 43 years old. He is now 52.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2019 in each Woodford County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
