Four Peoria County residents in their twenties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 27, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 229 positive cases reported in Peoria County among residents in their twenties, accounting for 22.1 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 27, Peoria County has reported a total of 1,036 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 33 of which have ended with the victim's death.
