1 Peoria County resident in seventies tests positive for COVID-19 on July 28

One Peoria County resident in his or her seventies tested positive for COVID-19 on July 28, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 50 positive cases reported in Peoria County among residents in their seventies, accounting for 4.7 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 28, Peoria County has reported a total of 1,066 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 33 of which have ended with the victim's death.
