Five Peoria County residents in their sixties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 29, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 90 positive cases reported in Peoria County among residents in their sixties, accounting for 8.1 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 29, Peoria County has reported a total of 1,106 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 34 of which have ended with the victim's death.
