Illinois State House District 93 issued the following announcement on Aug. 6.
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is offering a temporary drive-thru Covid-19 testing site at the State Fairgrounds every Wednesday in August from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The site will be located the State Fairgrounds, FOOD-A-RAMA PAVILLION. Residents should enter through Gate 6 off Taintor Road.
Simple nasal swabs will be used.
You will be called with results within 4-7 days.
No cost for testing.
Bring your insurance card, but you can still be tested if you don’t have insurance.
Anyone can get tested! You don’t have to have symptoms or be sick.
