142 Peoria County residents in their sixties test positive for COVID-19

As of August 15, there have been 142 Peoria County residents in their sixties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 7,251 residents in their sixties in the county who had been tested, meaning that two percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through August 15, there have been 1,866 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 37 deaths from the coronavirus in Peoria County.
