Cincinnati FPD responds to 36 fires in 2018

Cincinnati Fire Protection District responded to 49 calls in 2018 - 2.1 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Cincinnati included 36 fires - 18 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 15 other fires.

In all, the department saw $2,500 in fire loss - or about $69 per fire.

The department also received 13 false calls, including one malicious call and 12 other false calls.

The Cincinnati Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $124,372 in 2018.
